Ready, set….

… and we’re ready to go here at Phillip Island. While the technicians spent a long (jet-lagged) day yesterday setting everything up for today’s tests, riders Chaz and Davide took care of a number of photoshoots. The first round of the championship always involves many bike/rider shoots so that the media are sorted with a selection of stock images for the rest of the season. It’s always interesting to be here at round 1 with new teams and many riders having changed team colours for 2014. The bikes, and riders of course, all looked great for the shoots, now let’s see how they all go round the beautiful Aussie track… Conditions are warm and dry, so here’s hoping for some uninterrupted track time… Will update you all a little later on….

and work begins!

All set here for day 2 of testing action! Day one was pretty positive; Davide closed with the second fastest time of the day, with both riders having worked steadily with their technicians throughout the sessions. This morning it’s already bright and sunny at 8.30am and the SBK boys are out on track from 9am… More to follow…

About ducatigirl
